Process Engineer (Wire Bonding)
Due to tremendous growth, our client, a leading microelectronics engineering firm, has a current need for an experienced Process Engineer (Wire Bonding) to join their team in Chatsworth, CA. As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining and providing continuous process improvement through planning, evaluating, verifying and executing procedures to ensure that products meet all requirements in terms of quantity, yield and cycle time. In this high profile role, you will use your knowledge and experience in process engineering to establish control and measurement of critical process steps. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong ability to work with technicians and develop more efficient methods to meet daily requirements and process goals. Other responsibilities include working closely with team members to ensure equipment is in top condition and working with development engineering to produce new processes that will meet our latest requirements.

Requirements:
BA/BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field. Master’s Degree is a plus
5+ years working as an Engineer, with an emphasis on prior production experience
Prior work experience in a small organization, with a significant amount of direct responsibility implementing processes
Ability to work collaboratively with clients and groups within the company and to take ownership of responsibilities when needed
Experience dealing with a number of deviations of processes for Wire Bond that included (a) Ball (b) Wedge (c) Ribbon (d) Palomar

A food processing plant (bakery) in Inland Empire is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our team. We are looking for someone who will provide leadership for the quality and food safety systems and programs. The qualified candidate will also be experienced in HACCP (HACCP certification preferred but not required), GMP’s, SOP’s and all other pre-requisite programs. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining Quality Assurance records and manuals.

DUTIES

•Serves as the primary contact for all Quality, Food Safety, Kosher, Co-Manufacturing and Regulatory issues.

•Develops implements and manages the Quality and Food Safety System.

•Manages and trains the activities of the Quality Technicians.

•Develops, maintains and ensures compliance of a qualified HACCP program.

•Ensures the effectiveness of the Master Sanitation and Pest Control programs for the facility and any associated food grade storage areas.

•Analyzes QA data to measure, access and improve product quality performance.

•Communicates compliance results to operating groups, ensures timely feedback and provides technical support to operate processes at target.

•Utilizes customer and consumer complaint data to identify root cause, then communicates and provides support to implement process/product improvements.

•Determines the disposition of all raw materials, packaging and finished product HOLD orders.

•Develops a Quality and Product Safety System that consistently meets BFG regulatory, customer, Kosher and third party audit requirements.

•Provides support to Divisional Quality in a timely manner for sales and customerand consumer requests including documented root cause analysis and recommended corrective actions.


REQUIREMENTS

•A college degree – B/S in Food Science/Sciences – preferred but not necessary – will consider 5+ years experience in lieu of degree.

•Must have a solid understanding of Federal and State food safety regulations.

•Must be very organized and have above average communication skills.

•Must have good computer skills including: MS Word & Excel

•Proficient knowledge of quality assurance and food safety standards, including third party standards such as AIB, SQF, and ISO.

•Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Must pay meticulous attention to detail.

•The ability to influence change and a willingness to spend time in the plant with employees during all shifts.

•MUST read, write and speak English.

•Verifiable work history and references are required. A background check will be conducted.

Food Production company in Corona has 3 vacancies for manufacturing sauces, dips, salads, salsas, etc.

The 1st position is in production. 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This person will formulate recipes

Second and third position is in the Sanitation Department. 1st shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 2nd shift: 3:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. two individuals to wash and sanitize equipment in between and during production runs. Hours are for first and second shift, however, they need to be flexible with their days and hours, as we sometimes start at 3:00 a.m. and work on Saturdays with an occasional Sunday for inventory.

Candidates must have: The ability to speak, read and write English is a must as the individual will need to read recipes, formulas, safety notices, and follow instructions. They must pass E-Verify. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience: The candidates should have some experience in the food industry with GMP knowledge, food safety knowledge, and willing to work in a wet and cold environment. They need to be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for a long period of time.

Responsibilities

· Evaluate and enhance Quality standards, technologies and approaches

Requirements

· BS in Engineering required. A background in Electrical Engineering is strongly preferred.

· 10+ years sophisticated quality assurance, development and implementation experience, plus 4 years of leadership/ team management experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment

· Strong understanding and experience with Manufacturing Environments that do work for the Department of Defense.

· Experience with MIL-PRF 38534 and AS-9100

· Experience with Hybrid Manufacturing and/or Micro Electronics is a plus

The following duties are responsible for all activities involving fabricating, inspecting, deburring parts for capital equipment machinery. Computes with machine indexing and settings for specified dimension and base reference points. Studies blue prints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine product dimensions, tooling, and to plan operational sequence. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use. Sets up and operates horizontal manual hones, horizontal automatic strokers, vertical strokers. Sets and adjusts speed, feeds and depth of cut to machine parts to specifications set forth in blueprints and drawings. Verifies starting materials are adequate prior to beginning to work. Responsible for quality of the finished product or services outlined above. Make recommendations, as needed, to other machinists as to possible solutions to machining problems. Will conduct first article inspections on all parts and operations being performed in the machine shop. Will conduct in-process inspections to verify that all quality standards are being maintained. Will be required to deburr, polish, assemble, and perform other various machine operations. Will work from drawings and use hand grinders and common hand tools to grind and polish a variety of parts to meet contour, size, and finish requirements.
